Spring Show and Sale 2016: Alberta Treasures
The 2016 Spring Art Show and Sale is this March 19th and 20th at the Legion Hall in Olds and is open to the public. Open your eyes to a new way of seeing the world as only art can show you.
Wellspring Visual Art Networks’ Art Show and Sale is a juried show which is held twice a year; this spring is the start of the association’s 8th year of spring and fall shows. The membership contains several notable and publicly known artists from the central Alberta region.
The artist’s work on display will be in several mediums. This includes works in watercolors, oils, acrylics, wood turning, pottery, airbrushing, photography, textiles, slumping glass, dye infused aluminum, stained glass, intarsia plus several more.
There is always a People’s Choice award. Drop in and have a say on your favorite piece of art in the Art show. New, original work and cutting edge ideas are always presented and lead the way in the art scene of the area.
The Art Show is on Saturday 10 am to 6 pm and then again on Sunday 10 to 4 pm. Art work will be available for purchase during the show. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, cheque or cash.
Coming this summer is our annual Artwalk. This is a special year marking our 10th Artwalk. This event spans the towns of Innisfail, Olds, Sundre, Didsbury and Carstairs. Watch for the coming announcements.
