Fall Show and Sale 2013

The Wellspring Visual ArtNetwork Association held a successful annual Fall Show and Sale on October 26th and 27th, 2013.

The first snow storm of the season limited the Sunday attendance; however, those who took in the two-day event were treated to fantastic displays of art by local artists.
The “People’s Choice” was awarded to local painter Gayle Kohut for her paintings of art inspired by her ranching and farming life. Runners up were Lorene Runham, Elsie Archer and Clint Jackson.

Door prize winners were: Lori-Jo Graham of Olds (painting donated by Cindy Boffey), V. Hardy of Olds (wood bowl donated by John Smythe) and Coreen Froese (set of cards donated by Gayle Kohut).

Wellspring Visual ArtNetwork hosts three shows annually, The Spring and Fall Show and sale held in March and October, and the ArtWalk every summer. The ArtWalk, hosted by local businesses in Carstairs, Didsbury, Sundre, Olds and Innisfail display work throughout July and August.
